A maze of World War Two tunnels under Dover's famous white cliffs is to be opened to the public for the first time.
The complex, which is 23 metres below ground, was excavated in just 100 days to help guard Britain's coast line by order of Sir Winston Churchill.

建造在英国多佛悬崖内被遗忘的二战隧道，经过18个月3000个工时的修复，今天向公众开放。这是它40年来首次对公众开放。
该隧道是1940年在丘吉尔授意下建造的，他命令建设隧道，作为军队袭击德国纳粹军舰穿越的通道。该隧道达3500平方英尺，最多能容纳185人和四名军官。
