Mining services company Ausdrill has secured contract extensions in Australia and Africa.

The Perth-based company has been awarded a three-year extension for production drilling works at Evolution Mining’s Mungari gold project in Western Australia.

Ausdrill’s subsidiary, African Mining Services (AMS), has received a provision letter of award from AngloGold Ashanti for a two-year, million ($142 million) contract extension at the Iduapriem gold mine in Ghana, West Africa.

AMS has been providing a full suite of mining services at Iduapriem since 2014. According to Ausdrill, final award of the contract extension is subject to finalisation and agreement on the documentation applicable to the extension.

Also in West Africa, AMS’s contract at Resolute Mining’s Syama gold operation in Mali has been extended to May 2018.

AMS will continue to provide a full suite of contract mining services, including drilling, blasting, and load and haul operations, at Syama
